Junior QA
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual testing and basic knowledge of test automation. The candidate will support the QA team in ensuring high-quality software delivery and will have opportunities to grow in automation testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand requirements, user stories, and functional specifications
- Design and execute manual test cases
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear steps to reproduce
- Perform functional, regression, sanity, and smoke testing
- Assist in validating bug fixes and performing re-testing
- Support basic automation test execution and maintenance
- Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers
- Maintain test cases and test documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in Manual Testing
- Basic knowledge of Automation Testing (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright or similar)
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Knowledge of test case design techniques and defect lifecycle
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar)
- Basic understanding of web applications
Good to Have (Optional)
- Basic knowledge of any programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, Swagger)
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
