Trixnotes Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how [Company / developer name] (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects your information when you use the Trixnotes mobile application (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Your privacy at a glance

  • We collect only what is needed to run your account and sync your content.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and the App contains no ads.
  • Voice input is converted to text on your device’s speech service. We never record or store audio.
  • You are in full control: you can delete your account and all of your data at any time.

1. Information we collect

a) Account information

  • Email address: used to create your account and to send you one-time sign-in codes.
  • Full name: shown in the App on your profile and home screen. You can change it at any time.
  • Google account details: if you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier from Google. We never receive or store your Google password.

b) Content you create

  • Reminders (title, notes, date, time and repeat settings)
  • Checklists and recurring checklist templates (titles, items and selected days)
  • Diary entries (title, text and date)
  • Notes (title and text)

This content is stored securely on our servers so that it is linked to your account and available whenever you sign in, including on a new device.

c) Device and app information

When you open the App, we collect a device identifier generated for the App, device brand and model, operating system name and version, app version and build number, IP address, install referrer (how the App was installed) and a push notification token.

We use this information to keep you signed in on the correct device, deliver reminder notifications, check that the App is up to date and protect the service from abuse.

d) Microphone (optional)

If you use voice input in the Diary, the App uses your device’s built-in speech recognition service to convert your speech into text. The App does not record, store or upload audio. Only the resulting text is added to your entry, and only when you choose to save it. Your device’s speech service (for example, Google) may process the audio under its own privacy policy. You may deny microphone permission and continue to use every other feature of the App.

e) Notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications for your reminders using Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

What we do not collect: your location, contacts, photos, files or payment information.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and sign you in securely
  • To store and sync your reminders, checklists, diary entries and notes
  • To send reminder notifications at the times you choose
  • To display maintenance notices or required-update messages
  • To protect the App and our servers from fraud and misuse
  • To respond to your support requests

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content for advertising, and the App contains no advertisements.
