You’ll be working closely with designers, frontend developers, and product teams to build and maintain backend services that power our applications and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js
• Write clean, efficient JavaScript (ES6+) and handle asynchronous programming
  challenges
• Design, build, and optimize database queries using MySQL
• Work with MongoDB and Mongoose (preferred but optional) to support data needs
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and manage request/response cycles
  effectively
• Use frameworks like Express.js for backend services
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth)
• Collaborate in Git-based version control workflows including code reviews
• Ensure backend performance, scalability, and security best practices are followed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in Node.js development
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming
• Experience with MySQL including database design, queries, and optimization
• Familiarity with MongoDB and Mongoose is a plus
• Understanding of RESTful API design and integration
• Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks
• Basic understanding of authentication/authorization concepts like JWT or OAuth
• Exposure to Git version control and collaborative workflows
• Awareness of backend performance, security, and scalability concerns

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in agile teams
• Familiarity with cloud platforms or containerization technologies (optional)
