Customization
views, fields, automated actions, QWeb reports, access rules and dashboards.
Odoo ERP Customization Services
Odoo ERP customization, custom module development and version upgrades, with AI agents working inside your Odoo.
What is Odoo customization? Odoo customization is the process of extending Odoo's apps, such as Sales, Inventory, Accounting and Manufacturing, to match how your business works. It includes custom modules that inherit standard models, changed views and reports, automated actions, integrations and migrations. Good customization keeps your code separate, so Odoo upgrades stay manageable.
01
views, fields, automated actions, QWeb reports, access rules and dashboards.
02
new Python and OWL modules that inherit Odoo models rather than fork them.
03
marketplaces, payment gateways, shipping carriers, bank feeds, WhatsApp, e-invoicing and legacy systems through XML-RPC, JSON-RPC and REST.
04
from OpenERP, older Odoo versions or other ERPs, porting custom modules and reconciling data.
05
rewriting deprecated APIs and retesting every module on the target version.
06
bug fixes, slow-query tuning, cron reviews and continuous improvements.
07
Odoo.sh or self-hosted on AWS by our AWS-certified engineers.
AI Automation
Odoo's automated actions follow fixed rules. Agents handle the messy cases rules can't.
agents read vendor bills and emails, create draft bills with the right vendor, taxes and PO link, and leave them for review.
agents review purchase and expense requests against budget and history, then send them to the right approver with context.
agents combine sales history, open quotations and lead times to suggest replenishment rules per product.
ask a question in plain English and get an answer drawn from live Odoo data, linked to the records behind it.
staff get help with steps in your setup, or the status of an order, inside Discuss or the record itself.
CRM follow-ups, delivery updates and month-end checklists move along without someone chasing.
Techrish builds this as agentic workflow automation tailored to your Odoo, delivered by senior engineers and trained AI agents, with human approval on financial actions.
Both editions run on the same framework, so custom modules work on either. Enterprise adds paid apps, Studio and hosting on Odoo.sh. Community is free and fully open, but some features need building or a third-party module. We look at what you'd use, then recommend the edition that keeps total cost and custom code sensible.
We run your real orders, bills and stock moves through standard Odoo and note every gap.
A written scope lists configuration, custom modules, integrations and agents, each with a test you can check.
Engineers develop in Git-managed modules on a staging database your team tests with real data.
We go live, train users, monitor closely and tune the agents as volumes grow.

Industries
[confirm: industries with past Odoo projects]
Yes, when changes live in separate modules that inherit standard models instead of editing Odoo's source. We keep that discipline, document each module, and test on a copy of your database before any version upgrade. If a new release changes an API, we update the module as part of the upgrade work.
Studio is good for simple changes like extra fields, views and basic automations on Enterprise. Once you need complex logic, integrations, performance work or changes that must survive upgrades cleanly, a developer-built module is safer. Many clients use both: Studio for quick tweaks and custom modules for core processes.
Yes. We review your current version, custom modules and data, then plan the jump to a supported release. Custom code is ported or replaced with standard features where Odoo has caught up. We run a full test migration first so your team can check figures before the final switch.
Odoo can connect to ecommerce stores, marketplaces, payment gateways, shipping carriers, bank feeds, CRMs, e-invoicing portals and WhatsApp through its XML-RPC and JSON-RPC APIs or custom REST endpoints. We define which data syncs in each direction and how failed syncs are reported, so issues are caught early.
It handles a defined task the way a trained team member would. An agent might read incoming vendor bills, create drafts in Accounting, flag a price that differs from the PO, and notify the approver. It uses its own Odoo user with limited rights, and every action is logged.
Start with an Automation Opportunity Review. We look at your current Odoo setup or the system you're leaving, list where customization and agents would help most, and give you a written plan with scope. You decide what to build first.
