About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual testing and basic knowledge of test automation.
Key responsibilities
- Understand requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Design and execute manual test cases.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear steps to reproduce.
- Perform functional, regression, sanity, and smoke testing.
- Assist in validating bug fixes and performing re-testing.
- Support basic automation test execution and maintenance.
- Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers.
- Maintain test cases and test documentation.
Required skills & qualifications
- 0 to 1 year of experience in Manual Testing.
- Basic knowledge of Automation Testing (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright or similar).
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Knowledge of test case design techniques and defect lifecycle.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar).
- Basic understanding of web applications.
