About the role
We are looking for a Junior Node.js Developer with 0–6 months of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in JavaScript and Node.js, along with a good understanding of databases and a willingness to learn and grow.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Node.js.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable JavaScript code.
- Work with MySQL for database operations and data management.
- Understand and implement basic database design concepts.
- Use commonly used NPM packages and understand their purpose and usage.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and deliver software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
- Follow coding standards, best practices, and development guidelines.
- Continuously learn new technologies and improve technical skills.
Required skills
- Basic to good knowledge of Node.js.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript concepts, including advanced JavaScript fundamentals.
- Good understanding of MySQL and database concepts.
- Knowledge of basic database design and database operations.
- Familiarity with commonly used NPM packages.
- Good problem-solving and logical-thinking skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in Node.js.
Experience
- 0–6 months of experience in Node.js development.
- Freshers with relevant projects, internships, or strong practical knowledge of Node.js may also be considered.
Educational qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
